The game’s first expansion launches this fall, and takes players to a new, frozen land filled with more monster to hunt.Įven if players choose not to purchase Monster Hunter: World after the trial, their save data will stay tied to their PSN account. The trial comes as a companion to the recent trailer for the Monster Hunter: World Iceborne expansion.

Currently, Monster Hunter: World has a 60% discount on the PlayStation store, and will set you back $19.99. Once the trial ends on May 20, any players who don’t own the full version of the game won’t be able to log in. The trial is currently only for PS4 players.
